Product description: This HRV is specifically designed for solar
preheating. By connecting our patent pending Solarsheat Air Collector to the
Your Solar Home HRV, we can provide a residence with fresh, solar heated air.
The Solar HRV automatically knows when to switch between solar preheated air
mode and the normal mode. The option dramatically increases the efficiency of
the unit.
As the two air streams pass through the Your Solar Home unit they do not mix.
They pass on either side of an aluminum heat-exchange core which transfers heat
from the outgoing air to the incoming air. The efficiency of this HRV is so
great that virtually none of the warmth collected from your home is lost to the
outside. In summer, the HRV works in reverse - removing heat from the incoming
air and transferring it to the outgoing air, to keep your home cool and fresh.
Alumninum heat exchange core: Patented design, highly conductive aluminum
transfers maximum amount of heat to incoming air. Nothing does as good a job as
aluminum - don't settle for plastic!
Built-in dehumidistat: Automatically increases air exchange rate when humidity
